Play it safe with DIN EN certification
You demand top quality in a translation. So do we. This is why we have committed ourselves to quality translation workflow by becoming certified through DIN CERTCO in compliance with the new DIN EN 15038 under the registration number 7U101. Further, it is our policy to adhere strictly to "good translation practices" when we take on a translation job. This means:
- Native language principle: we translate into our native languages only, i.e. into German and Italian.
- Translation and terminology management is computer aided and based on the software suite from SDL Trados.
- Extensive in-house quality and workflow checks: a multi-stage translation process ensures that both content and formal issues are checked and rechecked.
- Transparency: your continuous feedback contributes to shaping the translation process because we want you to be 100% satisfied with the end result.
And because we are a small team we can offer you added advantages: direct, rapid personal attention to your project as well as unlimited flexibility and high motivation.
Terminology and translation management
In the interest of your corporate identity we create a terminology database specifically for you and maintain an archive (translation memory) of all text segments that we translate for you. We have been working for years with Trados (now SDL Trados) software products. This permits us to guarantee the following:
- Rapid job processing
- A maximum level of terminological consistency - even when there is a great time span between two related texts
- Capacity to process all widely used file formats: e.g. MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, html and QuarkXpress files.
In addition, it is usually possible to extract text from PDF files to enable quality-driven translation processes.
